Become an Instructor

Just follow these four steps to become an AHA Instructor:

1. Have a current PROVIDER card in the discipline (i.e., ACLS, BLS, PALS, Heartsaver) you wish to teach

2. Complete the American Heart Association’s Essential Instructor Course

3. Attend an AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS or Heartsaver Instructor Course

4. Be monitored teaching your first course

BLS Instuctor Course

Initial $300.00 includes Instructor Manual and monitoring at Premier Education Office.

Renewal $ 200.00 includes monitoring at Premier Education Office.

ACLS Instructor Course

Inital $350.00 includes Instructor Manual and monitoring at Premier Education Office.

Renewal $200.00 includes monitoring at Premier Education Office.

PALS Instructor Course

Inital $350.00 includes Instructor Manual and monitoring at Premier Education Office.

Renewal $200.00 includes monitoring at Premier Education Office.

PEARS

The instructor course is an intensive course for those individuals who have already successfully completed the discipline-specific provider course.
